HSP wanted an ERP system that followed orders through from quotation to invoice, maintaining the original information while allowing the addition of specific customer requirements. With a varied stock profile of different valves types, with several classes and sizes, HSP needed a way to create multiple codes each relating to a single product. As Softrader has vast experience in the valve industry, we were very sympathetic to its requirements.
As the business grew, reporting also became a major management factor. This is something else we worked on closely with HSP, helping to improve reports and the company’s overall management process.
“Softrader provides a vast range of reporting on monthly transactions, stock and current backlogs,” says Christine Thow, an HSP business analyst. “Also, in the last few years, they have introduced the excel import and export function on reporting. This has again vastly improved the complexity of reports available to management.
“Over the years, we have worked closely with Softrader as they have introduced new functions and programmes. We benefit from a close relationship and have regular catch-ups either at HSP or Softrader offices to discuss current and future requirements.
“Recently Softrader have also created bespoke reports for ourselves and interpreted our requirements exactly as we wanted. This has given us an edge in the market when reporting to our customers. Technical advances have meant our company stock is available in the cloud network and we are working towards online facilities.
“We are currently trialling the documentation package with a view to implementing in the near future. Softrader have also been exceptionally helpful in helping us we merge our 3 branches into one entity.
“Overall the quality of response to any queries or issues is excellent and working with the whole Softrader team is always a good experience. We look forward to continuing with this strong and productive relationship.”
