Our exclusive industry focus means that the Softrader system is constantly evolving to meet the needs of our clients as their businesses change and grow.
The Softrader team is here to help with your enquiries, system questions or technical support.
Jon studied Botany and moved to the Oil and Gas Industry late 1970s. Whilst with the Transmark Group he worked in sales, procurement, engineering and expediting, mostly with respect to the supply of valves and actuators. During this time he became increasingly involved in programming and systems analysis and developed bespoke in-house systems for Transchem Valves and Domgas International.
In 1987 he left the Transmark Group and started up Softrader, supporting his old employer whilst developing a server based ERP system designed for companies supplying valves, pipe and fittings to the Oil and Gas industry. For the last 30 years this system has been developed continuously culminating in the current Softrader 7 and the newly developed Softrader Cloud.
Silas has been working at Softrader since 2008. Over the years he has worked on the development of Softrader 7, and also led the development of various bespoke software projects. Currently he is leading the design and development of Softrader Cloud. He became Technical Director in 2012.
Before Softrader, Silas worked for several years as a sales engineer specialising in valves. This was an excellent grounding in the main industry within which Softrader works, and enables him to have a comprehensive understanding of our customers’ requirements.
Silas has a degree in English and another in Philosophy; a surprisingly excellent preparation for life as a software developer.
Having lived in the Savoie and Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur regions of France since around 2007 Saul started his career as a sales engineer at PFF France based in Aix en Provence in 2010. In time progressing to Export Sales Representative and Project Manager positions. He worked mainly on export sales for the west African market supplying packages of carbon and stainless piping and valves to engineering and construction firms as well as directly to production companies, Total, Exxon etc.
Saul joined Softrader as Sales Manger in 2015 having relocated to East Anglia. Day to day sales of products to current and new clients and customer relationship management takes up most of his time.
The launch of Softrader Cloud is an exciting new undertaking for the company and Saul is now engaged in developing its marketing and new markets for the business.
